Join us for a paddle in the ACE Basin, a magnificent estuarine system created by the Ashepoo, Combahee and Edisto Rivers. We will follow a meandering black water creek deep into the rice culture of the the past which defines the character of the landscape. Majestic cypress trees cradling Osprey nests, sunning alligators, and mirror-like reflections of the sky will be our constant companions. The 2 hour trip starts and ends at the same landing,  covers approximately 2 miles of river, and will give you a taste this environment. The 4 hour trip covers approximately 9 river  miles and thoroughly immerses you in this black water haven. A healthy snack will be provided with the 4 hour tour.
